I love random facts posts.
I found out last year on a mountain trip following a beach trip that mountains win. It’s quieter and less sand gets kicked into my Cheetos.
My favorite dessert of all time are “$0.89 box brownies à la mode.” Which would make a hilarious menu item title.
I copy-pasted that à because I don’t know how to type it.
I like to sit at the highest setting in an office chair, even if my husband tells me I’m not that tall.
I like black shirts and psychedelic pink toenails, which portrays a weirder image in my mind than I actually look. Hopefully.
Dance parties, dressing up, and the mountains are three of my favorite things. Only once in my life have I visited the center of that triple Venn Diagram, and it was magical.
Whenever I see a hunched-over elderly person, I can’t help but sit up straight like a snooty-nosed princess, as if 30 seconds of good posture will prevent that fate.
I am a desert rat with a love/hate relationship with the sun. I used to dream of living in the rainy Northwest, until it rained for two weeks straight here, then I unthought that. So I’ll remain here in this scorched volcanic graveyard, which is actually a lot prettier than I make it sound.
I often wonder why should and shoulder don’t sound more alike.
Every year I re-watch Avatar, the Last Airbender. It’s hands-down my favorite TV series. Definitely my favorite finale episode of any show I’ve ever seen.
This may undo that last comment, but I am horrible at finishing shows. If I am not fully engrossed, I have no problem quitting. I never finished 24, Lost, Parks and Rec, Community, Downton Abbey, Prison Break, Once Upon a Time, The Office, This is Us, and so on. The only shows > 2 seasons I’ve watched are Avatar and The Good Place. If you suggest a TV series that I actually finish, that’s saying something.
“That’s saying something” is a saying that’s saying something that’s not actually saying something…or something.
I once blew a bubblegum bubble bigger than my head. It’s the only thing that might make me cooler than you.
