BEFORE
Our kitchen was in dire need of a makeover. The space was lacking luster. You could even say it was “lackluster” if you’re into making up words.
Budget
We have a goal to pay off our house before our son goes to kindergarten. Studies show that the stress of a home mortgage is the leading factor for the inability of a five-year-old to color inside the lines. So naturally, our budget is tight.
Problem
DIYing (Do it yourself…ing?) is out of the question. We attempted a similar project years ago, and it was a messy ton of work and the results were just “meh”. However, hiring an expert would be too elaborate. Plus, when professionals work at my house, they never need my opinion until I’m upstairs on the toilet.
Solution
Thankfully, we were able to avoid all that because we found a company in town that makes exactly what we need, already assembled, as long as we come pick it up ourselves.
It was still a bit of work, but it all came together in the end and we couldn’t be happier with the results.
